The April preschool family night theme: Open Mic Night. Everyone was encouraged to take part...
Caleb and Bethany jumped at the opportunity to go forward! Caleb told jokes and sang I Magnify (that is an orange magnifying glass in his hand) and after some openning notes in the microphone, Bethany sang Jesus Is The Rock. If they could, they would have both stayed up front entertaining the room all night...I wonder where they got that from?
After a hot dog dinner and an ice cream sundae Caleb and Bethany had a bit of extra energy to burn. They don't usually get that much sugar, and it showed...Caleb and Bethany started running circles in the back of the room. They convinced Kaeden to join them and it didn't take long for them to become a little more disruptive. There was no way we were going to get them to sit quietly, so instead we went out into the lobby where they could keep moving.

They were like little energizer bunnies. They kept going...and going...and going!
When Kaeden sat down for a moments rest, Caleb immediately encouraged him to get back up!
It was finally time to head home and Caleb got a little upset...Daddy didn't use his guitar on his song. This was easily fixed with an impromptu repeat performance!
On our way out to the van, it started to downpour. As we were loading into the van I looked back toward the church and was met with a wonderful view and a great close to the day...
