Happy Thanksgiving

We just got back from our trip down to Uncle Chris and Tamara's house (Hillsboro, Oregon) and once again the kids did great through the long drive. We left Thursday morning and enjoyed a wonderful day with family and friends, not to mention lots of good food...Thank You Aunt Tamara!!

Throughout the day, Caleb would climb up on the ottoman, look out the window and declare, "No toys." It was quite entertaining.

This is the first year Caleb didn't sleep in any type of crib while down there, so it took a little getting used to for him...I don't think he was all that excited about this! We had it all planned. Caleb would sleep in the living room with Grandma and Pop and Bethany would sleep in her play yard with Brian and I in the guest room. Unfortunately, we hadn't counted on Caleb being ready for bed long before anyone else. We didn't want him to be too tramatized if he woke up alone in a strange room, so plans changed and Grandma slept on the floor with him in the computer room...THANK YOU GRANDMA!!!
Friday, all of us drove out for a brunch with Great Grandpa Keiper, Judy, Uncle Tom and Aunt Karen. It was really nice having a chance to visit with this part of our family! After much conversation and good food we headed home.
