It can often be a dissappointment to go to the zoo and find most of the animals asleep and hiding, but we must have caught them on a good day. The tiger was awake!! We usually start the day by asking Caleb what he wants to see, and usually he says the "tigger" (just like in Winnie the Pooh) and more often than not, we have come to find that the "tigger" is "night-night" and are forced to move on. This time, we not only got to see him wandering through his environment, but he decided to take a swim as well! I think I was just as excited as Caleb!
Bethany also got to enjoy the animals a little more this time. Usually she spends the entire day riding in her stroller happy to take in all the scenery and the people we pass (or sleeps through the day), but as we watched her craning her neck to see things, we decided to let her see them up closer and she seemed to really enjoy it!
Caleb seemed to have fun with her out as well...of course, she's not quite used to his enthusiastic hugs yet!

The tiger is my absolute favorite animal at the zoo. Especially the white Bengal.
