PDZA with Grandma and Pop

Brian had to be away for work, so we decided to enjoy a day at Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium with Pop and Grandma Keiper.

The Meerkats were our first stop...Aidan had a blast watching them run all over!

Bedhany wanted to try to feed the goats as well, but she ended up only teasing the goats with the food just out of their reach.

Caleb and Bethany love the Discovery Lab!  It is an area that allows kids to learn about and touch a select variety of sea life.

Aidan wasn't all that into the Discovery Lab and had more fun exploring the aquarium.

 This was the day that Caleb learned a hard lesson...not everyone is honest.  He sat his Cat in the Hat down somewhere (and unfortunately it happened to be a moment all of us adults missed).  By the time we realized it was missing, and I ran through the entire zoo retracing our steps, it was long-gone!  I gave our name and phone number to lost and found, but unfortunately I don't expect to hear from them.
