An Early Birthday Present for Caleb

With the weather so nice, we decided to give Caleb his present a little early, a month early, so that he may have more time to play on it. We got him a bounce house. This wasn't an instant decision. Initially, we had planned on renting one for his birthday. But after looking at prices for one that would accomodate more than 2 or 3 children, we decided to buy one instead. It cost a little more, but not much - it was 1 1/2 times the cost of renting one for 8 hours. We figured it would be something that he could enjoy throughout the entire summer...and maybe give us a little time to get a few things done while he is playing!

We sent him and Grandma off on a walk while we set it up...and of course had to test it out ourselves before he got back.

As we waited for Caleb and Grandma to return, Brian kept us entertained with his mandolin.

And finally we could see them coming back...In Caleb's defense, it takes a long time to stop at every drain in the neighborhood and put a few sticks and rocks down them!

And the fun began immediately!!

Unfortunately, it wasn't long before we heard the plea of, "Can you come in here with me?" And with that we all got a turn (separately) to "jump" with Caleb.
