December 2009 Highlights

Christmas Tree Hunt...

Kaeden and Caleb got to enjoy the drive up to the mountain together with Uncle Bill.

When looking for the trees off the path, the snow was waist deep at times. I think the kids had it best!

Caleb had the hardest time keeping his gloves on. It wasn't long after this that the boots began to fall off as he walked...it was definately time to warm up!!

Gingerbread House Advent Event...

Caleb has a lot of fun directing us as to what he wants on the year it was Bob the Tomato, Larry the Cucumber and leftover gummy bugs (which were a hit with the other kids...I'm not sure how much their parents appreciated our donation).

Opening presents still isn't much of a focus for Bethany. Caleb got to open most of hers as well as his own!Caleb and Bethany enjoying a few of their gifts

Birthday Cake for Jesus...

To help pass on the main idea of Christmas being Jesus' birthday, we make a cake specifically for Him and sing "Happy Birthday" during the celebrations on Christmas day.
