The event parking was at a Middle School and we were bussed into town on none other than a big yellow school bus! Every time we see one pass, Caleb always gets excited, but nothing beats being able to actually ride one!!

Caleb and Pop off to find some adventures
All of the hands-on activities were great! They had a couple old engines set up so that kids could go in and play with the levers and knobs.

You could even pull the cord for the whistle...thankfully it was disconnected from the actual whistle, or that would have been one loud event!
They had a huge gift shop set up where we found the cake topper for Caleb's upcoming birthday party. There were no assigned seats, only assigned time-slots, so we had to get in line and wait to get onto Thomas...

Finally, it was time for the train ride...
The train ran on the opposite side of Snoqualmie Falls than the Inn and hiking trails. Here are a couple views from the ride...
